Journey to the Forbidden Zone

My friends and I have dubbed any craft section in stores the "forbidden zone," as it somehow sucks me in and refuses to allow me to leave without buying SOME form of item to use in a cosplay... I feel bad about not writing an update for so long, or for replying to notes and favs. So I take this moment to give a big, heartfelt THANK-YOU!!! Ai-kon 2012, came and went

Ai-kon 2012 this year was FANTASTIC! Even better than my first visit to the convention in 2011. This year I entered the cosplay contest with Dark Sheik, a black/gray/charcoal/white version of Sheik seen in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. And guess what?! I won an award with it!! I was so pumped about it (and still am)!!! I entered in the Beginner's division and was awarded Best Workmanship! SO AWESOME! I felt sooo nervous when it came to being judged on my costume, and when I was asked to tell a little bit about the costume I made, and sorta "why" I made it, I came up blank! ^^; All I did was explain how much I loved playing Sheik in the game, and
